Dr. Puri is board certified in anatomic pathology and dermatopathology. She received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She completed an anatomic pathology residency and a graduate certificate in epidemiology at The George Washington University. Her dermatopathology fellowship was at Geisinger Medical Center. Before joining LabCorp, Dr. Puri was an assistant professor of pathology and dermatology at Duke University Medical Center where she continues as an adjunct associate professor. She has served on the editorial board for Cutis, has extensive experience as a national presenter and has authored several scientific publications. Dr. Puri has served on several committees for the American Society of Dermatopathology (ASDP). She has been the medical director for the online Case Study of the Month for the ASDP since 2015 and served as the assistant director since 2013. She is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists, member of the ASDP and member of the International Society of Dermatopathology, among other professional societies. Additionally, she was an Immunopathology Director within LabCorp.
